Виното е емблематично за избата е създадена през 1970 г. С покупката на имота на север от Монталчино – Пелагрили от Сиро Паченти, се поствя началото на една легенда. През 1988 г. ръководството премина в ръцете на сина му, Джанкарло Паченти. Това е и реколтата, през която Брунело ди Монталчино “Плеагрили” е бутилирано за първи път. Годишно се произвеждат около 20 000 бутилки.
